The Wednesday Philly Props: Kyle Lowry

The Philly 76ers might be done in the NBA Playoffs, but the Philly Props are not.

We head into the Eastern Conference Finals and lay some cash on what Villanova’s Kyle Lowry is going to do for the Raptors in Game 1.

His Over/Under on Points is 13.5 (or 12.5 depending where you look). We took the Over 13.5 simply to get more bang (+115) for our buck (rather than the -120 on 12.5). He topped 13.5 three times in the Sixers series, but not in either of the last two games. Nonetheless, the Bucks will be trying to smother Kawhi Leonard, so Lowry will get the chance to make some buckets.

He was over 6.5 assists in each of his first six playoff games this postseason, but just once in the last six. Nonetheless, we are going Over, since he did get eight in each of the Game 1s so far.

Rebounds (5.5) are tricky, but he has snagged six in three of the last four Raptors’ games, and they have been missing some long shots, so let’s hang with that also.

A lot of this may just be our heart giving our wallet something to root for in a game we probably wouldn’t pay attention to otherwise. Consider that an early excuse when Lowry goes 11-5-4 and I go 0-3.
