The Kansas City Chiefs look to kick off title defense with another big win over the Texans – Sean Miller picks the game, points, and props

Well, Andy Reid finally got his championship.

Now, his Kansas City Chiefs are looking to become the new New England Patriots (tongue twister, right?) and possibly build a dynasty. But even if that does not happen over the next decade, the Chiefs can become only the third team in the last quarter century to win back-to-back titles (Denver, Super Bowls XXXII and XXXIII; New England, XXXVIII and XXXIX)

But the Chiefs might not even be in this position if the Houston Texans, tonight’s opponent, did not blow a 24-0 second quarter lead in the AFC Divisional Round last January. Kansas City erased that deficit by halftime, and outscored the Texans 51-7 over the final 40 minutes.

This game should have a lot of points, and I would expect the Chiefs to begin their repeat quest to start off with a win.
