NBA Saturday Afternoon: Good Morning, Sacramento

KINGS (-5) at KNICKS (229.5), 12 p.m.
Pick: Knicks (+5)

It’s rare to see teams from opposite conferences play twice within a week, but that’s what we’re getting when the Kings travel to Madison Square Garden for a Saturday matinee against the Knicks. New York (13-52) covered a double-digit line in Sacramento on Monday and we’re guessing there’s some flat spot potential for Kings here.

It’s the first game of a road trip on the East Coast for Sacramento (32-32) and the game tips off at 9 a.m. Pacific Time.

As bad as the Knicks may be, picking their games against the spread recently has been a coin flip as they are 4-4 ATS in its last eight. New York has been more competitive of late and one of those games was against Sacramento, so the Knicks shouldn’t lack confidence here. Don’t be surprised if New York wins this game outright, but we really like them to stay inside the five.
