Hollywood Casino opens with about $100,000 a day in sports bets

According to the Associated Press, the first two weeks of legal sports betting at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course, a little more than 21 miles northeast of Harrisburg, Pa., took in more than $1.4 million in bets.

SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia and Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh should be reporting their opening numbers within a few weeks. Parx Casino in Bensalem is opening its sports book shortly.
